About Me

I am a fully qualified registered nutritional therapist and have been in clinical practice since graduating from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in 2003. In addition to running my own busy clinic, I enjoy working at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition where I supervise and mentor student nutritional therapists during their final year of clinical practice. I am also thrilled to be part of a small, dedicated team of nutritional therapists at Robyn Puglia Nutrition & Functional Medicine where we work together to support clients with complex, chronic health conditions.

I have a special interest in nutritional approaches to digestive issues such as IBS, SIBO, inflammatory bowel disease, constipation and diarrhoea. I have recently completed the following additional training in this field:

The Institute for Functional Medicine’s Advanced Practice Module in gastrointestinal dysfunction

SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth): Clinical Strategies with SIBO expert Allison Siebecker

Microbiome Restoration in Clinical Practice with Dr Jason Hawrelak

Autoimmune Paleo Certified Coach Practitioner Training Program

Gastrointestinal Course with the Kharrazian Institute

Autoimmunity Course with the Kharrazian Institute

As part of my Continuing Professional Development (CPD), I regularly attend conferences, lecture and seminars to advance my knowledge and skills.

I am fully insured and a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists. I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC, the only register for Nutritional Therapy that is recognised by the Department of Health. As a practitioner on the CNHC register, I meet the national standards of practice for nutritional therapy and am bound by a strict Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
